An exciting job opportunity has arisen with one of our internationally established clients, for an experienced Production Team Leader to join a well-respected business within the industrial construction sector, based within the Alfreton area of Derbyshire.

The minimum requirements for the Production Team Leader are:

- Must have experience working within a management or supervisory role (Essential)
- Must have a background from within the manufacturing industry (Essential)
- Able to demonostrate experience within an electronics or panel manufacturing environment (Highly Desirable)
- Possess electronics qualifications such as C&G or an NVQ (Highly Desirable)
- Some understanding of continous improvement including 5S and Route Cause Analysis (Desirable)

The ideal Production Team Leader will come from an manufacturing background, with relevant qualifications in electrics and electronics assembly, with previous experience of managing a team in a fast paced environment.  You’ll also be familiar with continuous improvement activities will drive efficiency throughout the business, whilst willing to learn new techniques and contribute constructively.

The main purpose of the Production Team Leader’s role is to manage the production team, ensuring everyone is on task and the production process runs smoothly, whilst maintaining high standards of health and safety for the business.

The Production Team Leader will also be responsible for:

- Managing day-to-day activities, including scheduling work based on demand and general administration
- Ensuring all health and safety policies are adhered to at all times
- Constantly monitoring and evaluating business/team performance
- Working with the sales team to produce accurate quotations and specifications
- Liaising with procurement partners over materials and supply of equipment

This Production Team Leader will lead the business forward in terms of development of this existing team and systems alongside all other key business departments.
