A large part of our payroll process is data handling – and there’s a lot more to it than you might first think. As your payroll provider, it’s our job to collate all the data and ensure it’s verified. We also deal with any employee amendments and statutory changes, so that we can ensure we are acting in line with legislation at all times.

As part of our personalised payroll service, we produce bespoke reports for each and every one of our clients. As part of our reporting process we also deal with your BACS file production, pension feed upload & communications, management reports and nominal file production.
If you choose to do so, we can also completely handle your pension processing in house. We help to get everything set up and processed, so that you can be confident your pension schemes are being handled entirely in line with legislation. For a large proportion of our clients, we are involved with administering their pension schemes through our partnership with some of the UK’s largest providers. We’re here to make sure you and your employees have access to the best tools. There’s no need for you to be involved with the transition of new staff, or those who are leaving either; we handle it all – we’ll just require your authorisation beforehand.
Businesses are now more commonly opting to use online payslips or epayslips rather than traditional payslips as part of their payroll processing. But how does this work in line with legislation? At Talk Staff Payroll, we use a fully GDPR compliant payslip system, with a secure electronic portal that can only be accessed by employers and employees using a secure and unique login. Within this portal, users have access to their payslips, P60s and P11ds all within one place.

We know how important it is to act in line with legislation, but it can be difficult to keep up with what’s up to date. Our Payroll experts are always up to date, using only HMRC compliant software and processes for each of our clients. Not only this, but we have also updated our processes so that they are fully in line with GDPR rules and regulations. Authorisation to deal with HMRC
As part of our payroll processing process, we will ask you to authorise us to have communication with HMRC on your behalf. This means we can have easier access to your employees’ tax codes for example, so that we can ensure accuracy and efficiency within our processes. Not only this, it leaves you with less to handle in house – we’re always striving to make the process easier for you.
